SACE2025 will now comprise a series of both in-person and virtual short events. We’ll start with a virtual kick-off on February 14th, followed by webinars on March 13th and April 17th. These will lead up to July 17th, a vibrant, in-person research symposium, career fair, and mentoring reception this summer in Washington, DC to celebrate in community with the entire Collective and its supporters. We’re so excited to share SACE2025 Reimagined with you!


This new hybrid format is designed to ensure that attendees from across the country will have even more opportunities to connect with keynote speakers and peers and showcase their work. Featured speakers include Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman (Harvard Kennedy School), Bree Jones (Parity), and Jacqueline Musiitwa (former USAID)! Featured career fair participants include top employers in economics and related fields, like government, finance, think tanks, industry & more.

What's new?

Specifically, SACE2025 will now comprise a series of both in-person and virtual short events. We’ll start with a virtual kick-off on Feb 14th, followed by webinars on March 13th and April 17th. These will lead up to July 17th, a vibrant, in-person research symposium in Washington, D.C.

What's better?

By spreading out the SACE2025 experience and including both virtual and in-person events, our community will have even more opportunities to connect with The Sadie Collective network. Culminating the virtual event series with an in-person symposium will allow everyone to connect together.

What if I already have a ticket?

Current ticket holders—you won't miss a thing! Your ticket already comes with full access to ALL the virtual events and symposium.

Will I get a refund with the adjusted prices?

Yes, if you purchased a ticket before ticket prices were adjusted to reflect the new format, you will receive a refund for the change in price.

What if I cannot afford the ticket?

We recommend that you look into the following options for funding: Check in with your Academic Advisor(s), Academic departments, colleges at your institution, centers of undergraduate or graduate research, student government or student organizations at your institution.

When should I buy a ticket?

Now! We know this change may bring some adjustments, and we truly appreciate your patience and enthusiasm as we continue to create safe and thriving spaces for new voices in economics and related fields. We can't wait to see you!

How will the sponsorship and partnership packages change?
